I’m Dylan!

I’ve been an award-winning copywriter, an illustrator published internationally by Penguin Random House, a Spanish-to-English translator, a Cambridge University-certified ESL teacher, a competitive surfer, and I was once crowned New York’s Best Barista in 2019 (that latte you haven’t stopped dreaming about? yea, that was me).

But that “plus” in Copywriter Plus isn’t just because of my list of extracurricular achievements.

That plus is a promise to myself and anyone I work with—client or coworker: to not limit my job description to clever words and proper grammar. To always add to someone else’s thinking. To commit to the process of building up the best idea, even if I don’t directly come up with it. To have the courage to go beyond the good, or even great ideas, so the truly best can shine. And to never be satisfied unless today’s Dylan is at least slightly better than yesterday’s.
